My Online Tutoring

I teach one-on-one online russian classes for children and adults for ages from 10 to 100! All levels are welcome! I carefully alter my curriculum and teaching style towards each student based on their language levels, personalities and learning preferences. All of my students feel safe, welcomed, encouraged, and motivated to become more proficient in Russian. Students’ interests and strengths are highlighted during learning process, and the focus is on creating positive experiences for all learners. In my online classes, I use Google Slides for quizzes, assignments, homework, and grammar and vocabulary materials. Google Meet is used throughout the class for live interaction with students.

Classes at True North Homeschool Academy

I will be teaching Russian 1 for True North Homeschool Academy this year, live on-line from Kentucky, US. These classes are designed for students ages 14-21 and are geared towards language enthusiasts wanting to learn basic Russian communication, foundational reading skills and cultural awareness.

If you have a high school student who has little to no prior knowledge of the Russian language and who is looking to earn a HS Foreign Language Credit, my Russian 1 class is for them!

During the classes, you may have the pleasure of meeting my "assistant" Vasya, my Russian Blue cat. Vasya has been a source of inspiration in many aspects of my life, including the design of my website logo. So, don't be surprised if you see a feline friend wandering around or him peeking at the corner of the screen, he's just excited to hear Russian because he understands it very well!
